Our Merriam Turkey hunts are on private land in Colfax County, New Mexico. The ranch consists of pinions, juniper, oak brush, meadows, springs and pines.
The spring Gobbler season is fun and challenging. The Gobblers are responding and the hens are flirting. It doesn’t get any better!!
This hunt is limited to no more than four hunters per hunt.
License can be purchased over the counter and the area that we hunt is a two bird limit. This is a full service hunt which includes meals, lodging, guide service and game care. There is also a New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax of 7.7708% and hunters are responsible to buy their own license.
Extra hunting days are $300 per day.
All hunters wishing to purchase any big game or turkey license must first purchase an annual Game-hunting License. This is a new mandatory regulation issued by the New Mexico Game & Fish Department for the 2012 hunting season.
